Tag with handmade wild roses ...

I made this tag to go on my sisters birthday gift -  we had a birthday lunch at her favourite Italian today so now she's seen her gift it's safe to publish the tag here!  I used paper from the 6x6 Maja 'Enjoying Outdoors' paper pad matted onto plain pale pink card, both die cut with a Crealies die.

I stamped and diecut these roses from plain white card and shaped and coloured them with chalk inks then added paper stamens and amber coloured tiny seed beads.  I popped in a couple of pink/white hip rosebuds.   Many thanks to Janice at Sir Stampalot who sent the Heartfelt Creations die the same day I ordered it - I already had the co-ordinating stamp but no die to cut the flowers with.  I was so pleased when the die arrived :-) much faster than cutting each flower with a pair of scissors!

The leaves were diecut from green card which I coloured with chalk inks.

I added a bow made with 38mm pale pink silky crush ribbon, 10mm ivory daisy flat-back pearl trim adhered with 6mm double sided sticky tape, 17mm Donna ivory vintage style cotton lace.  I added some 3mm hot pink satin ribbon at the top of the tag and embellished the lace bow with a 15mm pearl and diamante flat-back embellishment.

Gift bag ....

A decorated gift bag using paper from the Maja Design 'Enjoying Outdoors' 6x6 paper pad  decorated with black flowers - why black I've no idea, I just had this idea floating around in my head to make black and silver flowers, so I did

The tag is diecut with a Crealies die and I added more Maja paper, some handmade black flowers embossed with silver, diecut and shaped and with a touch of Stardust Stickles in the centres.  I glued in some lilac pearl beads from my stash.  The diecut leaves were shaped and coloured with chalk ink, then I added some mulberry paper lilac/white hip rosebuds, purple/lilac beaded berries and some silver twine.

The bow is Mauve Rose vintage style seam binding, Allison antique white vintage style fine cotton lace and a 15mm round amethyst and diamante flatback embellishment.

Spring themed 'Diamond Top' card ...

I've never made one of these diamond top folded cards before, but once I got the hang of which way to fold the single piece of A4 piece of card, I quite enjoyed it.

I used Maja Design 'Vintage Spring Basics' 6x6 papers (the little butterfly is cut from the same pad), all edges distressed and inked, White Opal Liquid Pearls, and a gorgeous little digi printable image from LOTV  called 'Mouse and Bumblebee'

I added some iced lime seam binding, natural hemp twine, ivory exotic blossom, white cosmos daisy, a couple of lemon sweetheart blossoms, a sprig of blue/white beaded stamen a couple of pale green paper leaves and some 32mm Clementine ivory embroidered tulle lace.

I am entering this into the Card Addicts February Challenge - Diamond Fold Card made from a single sheet of A4 card - must have a Spring theme
