A folded card ......

My card for this week's Papertake Weekly Challenge -

Take Your Pick

If you remember from November, the last PTW challenge of every month is going to have several themes and you simply take your pick from them.   There’s a sketch, a colour theme, a product theme and a technique theme to choose from. Please see PTW blog for more details

I coloured up an old Sarah Kaye image with inktense pencils and made a folded card (inspired by a card friend Jean made) The papers are from LOTV 'Timeless Victorian' paper pad

I added 'Donna' ivory vintage style lace, 6mm flat back pearl trim, lilac 20mm and 10mm open roses and lilac beadedberries

This is the card folded into the cover - I was really pleased with out it turned out

I hope you will join us at Papertake Weekly - we look forward to seeing your cards and you'll be amazed at the projects made by the Design Team- so inspiring!

Seeing spots ....

My card for the Magnolia Only Challenge - we'd like to see spots on your cards and projects.  I coloured up Tilda with Inktense pencils

I used pink spot paper from LOTV 'Butterfly Kisses' pad then I added some Berisford 25mm large spot satin ribbon, WOC pink and pale pink 10mm and 20mm roses, blue/white beaded stamens, a very pretty square sparkly button and 3mm pink satin ribbon with pink jewel beads tied on the ends - a nice touch I think

The sentiment is from Lili of the Valley

I hope you will join us at Magnolia Only  and be inspired by the fabulous work frm the Design Team    We look forward to seeing your spotty projects!

Get in shape at Papertake Weekly ....

I coloured this old Sara Kaye image with inktense pencils and used LOTV background papers.  This weeks challenge at Papertake Weekly is 'get in shape' and I've used a square, two ovals and two hearts!

I inked all the edges and added white dahlias to colour yourself, Kort & Godt white chrysanth and ivory beaded berries, WOC hip rosebuds and some gorgeous 75mm Michele white gujipure lace.  I finished the card with some 5mm s/a pearls

I hope you will be able to pop over to Papertake Weekly - you'll be amazed at the beautiful cards the design team have made and I look forward to seeing what you make!

In the pink.....

It's the first challenge of the year over at The Ribbon Girl Blog and this week it's the Colour Challenge which is PINK, my favourite colour :-)

I made this card in memory of happier times spent in that beautiful city.  I wasn't brave enough to go right to the top of the tower, only the first level which was still far too high for me :-(

The two post cards are images from LOTV coloured with Inktense pencils, the resin Eiffel tower are from the new flat back resin sets, I added some 'Monique' white guipure lace, some lacey edge dusky pink daisy ribbon and a WOC baby pink cherry blossom flower

There are some fabulous pink projects by the Design Team - I hope you will find time to pop over, be inspired and enter the challenge - there is a great prize from Marianne Designs and a £10 voucher for The Ribbon Girl store!
