Happy birthday from the dog ....

There is a new 'anything goes' challenge over at Polkadoodles Digi Choosday Challenge with a nice prize for the winner.  I hope you will find time to join us and if you pop over to the blog I'm sure you will be inspired.  The DT were tasked with creating a project with the theme of  Father's Day/Male with an unusual shape so I made a heart-shaped card from the dog :-)
I used the black/white digi image  'Horace' from the 'Horace and Boo Collection'
I coloured the image with Copic markers and added a faux hessian bow topped with a spotty button.
The sentiment is a digital download from the Horace and Boo collection
The heart shape is from a Tonic die-set
I hope you will find time to pop over to the challenge blog and be inspired by the wonderful things the design team have made.  I am looking forward to seeing what you make, happy crafting, and thanks for visiting my blog,
see you soon,

A good luck gift .....

A gift for a new home using Polkadoodles digit download stamp Helga Hippo flower girl which I coloured with watercolour paints.  The background paper is from the same collection and I added a ribbon bow, a scrap of lace, some flowers and a die-cut leaf.  The tall bottle was difficult to photograph so I have included some small close-ups here

Happy bearday ....

I am practising water-colouring with distress inks on Bristolboard paper.  Thanks to the lovely Squirrel for advice on paper and colouring - there's a nice tutorial on her blog, much appreciated.  I am waiting for delivery of more colours, I'll be stalking the postie :-)

This is Bella a digi downloaded stamp from Polkadoodles.  I had to use a Spectum Noir pen to get the yellow for the bees bodies, but the rest is coloured with both oxide and ordinary distress inks

May today be filled with happiness ....

Inspired by my Polkadoodles teamie Plony I downloaded this lovely Polkadoodles digi image 'Luna' and coloured her with Copic markers.  The outer frame is cut from a Marianne Creatables die LR0470 and the pink and white flowers are diecut from Sue Wilson dies by Creative Expressions which I bought from my friend Anne when she was having a crafty clear-out.  The sentiment is from the Polkadoodles Winnie collection

For a first holy communion ....

Sorry for the quality of the photo, I just could not get the correct 'whiteness' to show up on this all white card, try as I might.   A card for a first Holy Communion which has a personal message on the inside leaf.  The sentiment was computer generated and I embossed the background paper with dots.   I used various dies including a Marianne Creatables LR0578, a trellis cross die (by Robert Addams #176 which I've had for ages, rose leaves I think from Magnolia, and Heartfelt Creations dog rose (I used white paper embossed and glittered and vellum which was heat embossed)  The card was finished with sparkly s/a gems in the centres of the flowers.

The cutest little bear .....

For this round birthday card I used a Marianne Designs LR0112 creatables die on a round card which I shaped with with a scallop edge die.  The cute image of the little bear sitting by the watering can, is a LOTV digital download Simply Print 'Watering Can, Spring Flowers'

The daisy flower was punched and the leaves were die-cut.  The sentiment was computer generated.
