I made this card especially for a charity card swap over at Card Addicts - my card buddy received it this morning so I can now share it on my blog .  I used Lemoncraft 'Heart Painted' papers, and a LOTV Simply Print 'Hellebores' image.

I added 20mm pale coral paper roses and an ivory exotic blossom with some diecut paper leaves.  The bow is made from Posie Vintage Style Seam Binding and the trim at the right hand side is 10mm white flatback square pearl trim and pale ivory organza rose trim.

Easel Card with Drawer and tutorial

I've never included a tutorial before so I hope I havent missed out an important stage.  Please ask if I haven't explained it correctly.

An easel drawer card using Maja Design Sofiero 6x6 papers and the co-ordinating Shades of Sofiero 6x6 papers with 6mm white flatback pearl trim adhered with 3mm double sided sticky tape, 25mm pale pink open roses, pink hip rosebud, blue/pink forget me not flowers, and 15mm satin edge pink sheer ribbon.  The leaves are diecut from the sage green paper in the Shades of Sofiero pack.

I have decorated the drawer front with a couple of leaves and some white miniature blossom flowers

This is how I made the card:

this will become the box into which the drawer fits

this will make the drawer

this will become the front of the easel card

this will become the 'easel' part of the card

You need to adhere something across the top of the box so the 'easle' can comfortably sit behind it when it is opened by the recipient.  I used some 6mm flat back pearl trim

Easter basket ...

An Easter basket made with Maja Design Sofiero 6x6 paper pack - one sheet for the basket and a couple of strips from another sheet for the handle.  oops the little butterfly (cut from Maja paper) looks as if it is lapping up some nectar from the flowers!  My flower arrangement includes a pale pink ballerina blossom, 30mm pale pink rose, pink hip rosebud, white miniature blossoms and a pink anemone

The handle is decorated with white double row pearl flatback trim and the sentiment is from LOTV

Instead of ribbon, I used 'Prudence' pale pink lace to tie a bow

Monochrome Easter Card ....

Ive been wanting to make a monochrome card for ages, and managed to get one done at last.  I used cream coloured pearlised paper and I diecut the background, then embossed and diecut a small square to which I added another square with a scallop edge. I used sticky pads to give a bit of dimension.
I got the cross die from the papercraft exhibition at Harrogate on Saturday and.  The flowers are diecut from a Magnolia die and the tiny ones are punched.  The leaves are also diecut and shaped.  I added a bow of cream vintage style seam binding, some cream miniature blossoms and 5mm and 11mm ivory pearls.  The sentiment was computer generated

Double fold card ....

A double fold card using Maja Design 'Sofiero' images ' on 'Vintage Autumn' papers - I find that it's very easy to use papers from more than one Maja  6x6 pad and still get a good result.
