Birthday Boy

Apologies for the photo quality - bad light stopped play!! Even with the daylight lamp and a big white background, it still looks dull - having said that, none of that affected my aim with the camera and after several attempts I still haven't got the picture straight!   This is a plain and simple birthday card for a little boy - the cute image is from LOTV which is double mounted onto textured plain card just a shade lighter than the background navhy blue card.  A piece of peacock blue pencil stripe ribbon from here is inserted to resemble a tab on the side.

I used a silver 'thickers' number and the round sentiment is one of the new rubber stamps from Lili of the Valley which I stamped in blue Stampin Up ink, cut the circle with a punch and fixed on with sticky pads.
I am entering this card into the http://letscreatechallenges.blogspot.com/ 'one for the boys'

Mary, your card is gorgeous! I know what you mean about lighting, with the weather as it is now it's really difficult to get a perfect photo...but I think you've done extremely well!

Thank you for taking part in our One for the Boys challenge and sharing your card with us.

take care,

Mandy
