Colour - cool colours from the colour wheel
Technique - masking - make a scene using 2 or more images
Product - use kraft card

I chose to make a card with cool colours - greens and lilac

The image is from a LOTV Artpad matted onto LOTV 'Timless Victorian' papers.  I used some 38mm sage green organza ribbon and some 15mm white daisy venise lace.

My flower arrangement includes a white daisy with the centre removed and replaced with a 15mm round lilac diamante embellishment, some lilac/purple beaded berries, a couple of white/lilac hip rosebuds.  The leaves were punched from the background paper as were the little lilac butterflies

I hope you will pop over to PTW to be inspired by the wonderful creations from the design team - and we look forward to seeing what you have made for this fun challenge - something for everyone!

I used a pretty image from the LOTV 'Summer Flowers' artpad, then added a ink daisy (centre removed and a 14mm sparkle gem added) baby pink cherry blossom flowers and some pink/pink beaded berries.

The bow is made from 23mm pale pink organza ribbon tied with pink Divine Bakers Twine and the charm is a tiny heart with pink gem.  Sentiment is from LOTV and there are tiny hearts on the background papers :-)

Birthday bauble.......

There's a new challenge at Papertake Weekly - anything goes sponsored by LOTV  Optional extra is to use newsprint or the pages from an old book  -  I decided to make a hanging birthday bauble and used an image  from a LOTV artpad. (Ribbon Girl sells similar 70mm clear two-part baubles with hanging loops - you only need one half to make a hanging bauble card)

I die cut the image, backing paper and outer card then I glued tiny pink rosebuds, 10mm and 20mm WOC pink open roses on to my image before fixing on the cover.  The name was printed with our little wooden alphabet stamps and added to the image.  I used my new Bosch rechargeable glue gun to stick the flowers, half-bauble and the 5mm crystal beads onto the card then added some 23mm organza ribbon and rose pink tiny ric rac to the hanging loop at the top

I hope you will be able to join in the challenge this week - the design team have made some really lovely projects!
