Graduation decoupaged wineglass ...

 

A wineglass decoupaged with an image by Polkadoodles.  I added glitter and after three coats of clear varnish trimmed the glass with 38mm hunter green silky crush ribbon, yellow/white wild roses and white cosmos daisies.  The text on the base of the glass was computer generated onto ricepaper

Butterfly decoupaged trinket box ..........

 A decoupaged/painted hinged wooden trinket box.  I trimmed around the base with velvet ribbon topped with a 14mm round diamante buckle slide.  The 'feet' were made with 11mm flatback pearls

Decoupaged Wine Glass for Christmas .....

 

I thoroughly enjoyed decorating this wineglass as a Christmas gift - I was impatient to try out a video I had watched on decorating a glass bottle with rice paper, but since I had no bottle, I used a wine glass from the cupboard.  I painted the glass, applied the decoupage (will make it smoother next time) sealed with modpodge, added glitter, then three layers of clear varnish.  I added 25mm pale pink satin edge sheer ribbon and a 30mm pale pink wild rose.

I will be trying other techniques on Christmas baubles of various shape and material in the next few weeks

Anniversary card ......

 

Anniversary card trimmed with 40mm pink tea rose, tiny pearl cluster on silver stem, white guipure lace leaves, pink wild rose and a large pink rosebud    The sentiment was computer generated and the bottom of the card is trimmed with shabby pink ruffled trim, topped with 6mm white flatback pearl trim and a bow made from 25mm pale pink satin edge sheer ribbon.   All embellishments are from The Ribbon Girl

Today I'm sharing a little hinged wooden treasure chest which I have decorated with paper, a bronze flowery oval mount and a pearl and diamante oval embellishment, both from The Ribbon Girl.

Hexagon box decorated in Faberge style .....

 

A hexagon shaped hinged wooden trinket box decorated in 'Faberge' style (without the diamonds and precious stones :-)  I  added 6mm white flatback pearl string, 17mm white 'Laila' vintage style fine cotton lace, oval diamante and faux mother of pearl embellishments, a double edged diamante pearl embellishment, aqua wild rose, miniature pink blossoms, green rose leaf and tiny white pearls on a silver stem.  The ribbon is white 100% pure silk

Vintage style Pink and Ivory Oval gift box .....

 

I love decorating papier mache or hand-made boxes.  I trimmed this papier mache one with designer paper, 6mm ivory flatback pearls, ivory vintage style Donna lace, a 40mm pink tea rose, 20mm pale pink open roses, white miniature blossoms, petite ivory beaded berries, tiny pearl clusters on silver stems, pale pink pure silk ribbon and a 15mm pearl and diamante embellishment.  The feet are made from 8mm ivory pearls   All ribbon, lace, trim and embellishments are from The Ribbon Girl

Celebrate today ....

I dont usually mix pink and lemon but I thouoght it went well with this lovely paper.  I distressed and inked the edges of the paper, then made tags with scraps of the paper and added the greeting with a Papertrey stamp.  I used 40mm and 30mm roses plus 25mm Veronica ivory flat lace topped with 15mm pink satin ribbon and 6mm ivory flatback pearl trim.  I added an applique guipure lace pink heart with bow and central pearl and a couple of ivory pearls in the bottom right hand corner

Watercolour roses birthday card ...

 

A birthday card made with one of the LOTV digital watercolour images, you can make them any size you need, so very useful.  I added the text before printing it out.  I added a peach cottage rose, 20mm peach open rose, 30mm ivory wild rose, orange blossom flowers, ivory cream miniature blossoms and a big bow made from apricot sugar sprinkles ribbon.  Down the right hand side I added Rosa Bianca guipure lace topped with some irridescent s/a flatbacks.  I finished the card with Stardust Stickles for a bit of sparkle

Toby to a 'T'

 

I couldn't resist this brand new digital watercolour image from LOTV - it's my grand-dog Toby to a T - I've included a photo of himself so you can compare :-) I added the text, ribbon, ric rac and flowers from The Ribbon Girl

A shaped card for a change using a stencil to draw the outline of the card. The sentiment is a papertrey stamp

 I added pale pink satin ribbon

My flower arrangement includes hite daisy, pink dog rose, pink/pink wild rose,  green rose leaves.  I trimmed the bottom of the card with 23mm ivory pearl trim, and then added pearl dots with white opal liquid pearls all from www.ribbongirl.co.uk

Christmas card with pink roses ...

A Christmas card with 40mm pink tea rose, 30mm  pink/dark pink wild roses, rose leaves, hip rosebuds and pink blossom flower.  The card is trimmed with 55mm Emma ivory guipure lace and 6mm ivory flatback pearls adhered with 3mm and 6mm double sided sticky tape.    The poinsettia was diecut from pink pearlised card and topped with an 8mm ivory flatback pearl

With love today and always ....

A blue card today, the little tag on the front reads 'With love today and always'  The card is trimmed with 35mm 'Tuscany' ivory guipure lace with heart shaped design, ivory faux silk ribbon topped with blue and ivory mulberry paper 30mm wild rose, 30mm blue wild rose, a white lily, flowers, blue beaded berries.  I cut and embossed a small butterfly and trimmed with faux pearls.
