A Christmas gift pouch embellished with 38mm white vintage style 'Kate' lace, padded silver star trim, 25mm satin ribbon, holly leaves and a white poinsettia flower.

I added a s/a sparkly star to the top of the little Christmas tre and the image is by Polkadoodles

Pink Roses gift pouch .....

 

Gift pouch trimmed with 'Isabelle' white guipure lace, pale pink satin ribbon and white opal liquid pearls.  The flower arrangements include 30mm pale pink wild rose, rose leaves, 20mm pink paper rose, white lily flowers, pink large rosebuds, pale pink blossom, a couple of decorative pins and a fluffy bow made from 50mm Pink 'Twinkle' sheer ribbon topped with a 14mm pearl cluster flatback

Vintage style Christmas tree decoration ... and a new challenge over at The Ribbon Girl blog ..

This is my inspiration for the September 'Anything Goes' Challenge over on The Ribbon Girl blog.  There are two prizes, a £10 voucher from Polkadoodles and a selection of goodies from The Ribbon Girl.  

The challenge is open for 2 weeeks, so you've got loads of time to make and enter something.  I made a Christmas tree bauble with a vintage feel.  I added  Rosa Bianca white guipure lace, 38mm Duck Egg (Aqua) Blue faux silk, white organza with silver stars, 15mm white and also aqua satin,  silver twine, 10mm silver jingle bells, a white poinsettia, duck egg double blossom, 20mm white paper rose and holly leaves all from The Ribbon Girl

The edge of my bauble has been trimmed with 15mm Bianca Rosa white guipure lace.

Pink and Aqua rose trinket box ..

I was asked to make a small trinket box in pinks and aquas and for this one I added 30mm pale pink wild roses, pink two tone large rosebuds and robin egg/aqua medium rosebuds with a stem of tiny pearl cluster flowers and aqua 7mm satin ribbon all from The Ribbon Girl

For the edge of the lid and the base I added Donna ivory cream vintage stye cotton lace, 6mm ivory flatback pearl trim and a pink and diamante embellishment.  The feet are 11mm pearls.  All from The Ribbon Girl

Ivory & Blue vintage style trinket box ....

I was asked to make this vintage style box to match a card I'd made.  I used  blue beaded stamens, white lily flower, wild rose, 6mm ivory flatback pearl trim, pearl cluster flowers, ivory faux silk ribbon,  'Donna' ivory cream vintage style lace, 11mm pearls (feet) and a 15mm round pearl and diamante embellishment

Blue and white anniversary card ....

 

A wedding anniversary card trimmed with 6mm white flatback pearl string, 'Lyra' white guipure lace, a 5-pearl and diamante round embellishment, pale blue 38mm faux silk ribbon.  See below for flower arrangement.  Ribbon, lace, flowers, diamante and pearls are all from The Ribbon Girl

For the flower arrangement I used a couple of stems of blue/white beaded stamen, 3 green daisy leaves, two antique blue medium rosebuds, a 20mm ivory open rose, some white miniature blossoms and a large ivory rosebud

Pink and White oval trinket/gift box ..

A papier mache lidded box decoupaged with pink roses and trimmed with 17mm 'Laila' white cotton vintage style lace, 6mm flatback pearl trim, an oval pink gem and diamante embellishment.  The lid has raspberry velvet ricrac around the side and is topped with pink paper roses, leaves, pink/white rosebuds and 3mm pink satin ribbon.  The inside of the box is decorated to complement the outside and a personalised message can be placed underneath the lid.

Vintage Christmas tinket box .........

 

Vintage style decoupaged papier mache gift/trinket box trimmed with ribbons, vintage style pure cotton lace, paper flowers, leaves, berries, pearls and  a diamante buckle slide all from The Ribbon Girl

Santa Clause box with hinged lid ......

When I ordered some decoupage papers recently, the lady I bought them from sent me a paper napkin with a lovely Santa on it as a free gift.  I covered this plain round hinged lid box with it, in various pieces,  then added red faux silk ribbon, a 20mm red paper rose, a white paper rose and a white cosmos daisy plus a couple of leaves and some red double ended berries.  Around the edge of the lid I adhered some 18mm white cotton zig zag lace and on the base of the box I added 25mm red satin ribbon topped with a round buckle slide, all from The Ribbon Girl

When I had finished deoupaging the top of the box I added Tim Holtz crackle glaze then rubbed in some brown ink

This photo shoes the red satin ribbon with buckle slide and white cotton lace, I hoped it would look like Santas tummy and his white collar :-)

Personalised Decoupaged Pink Christmas Bauble ..

 

 A decoupaged Christmas bauble.  The perimeter has been edged with 'snow paste' then topped with glitter for a bit of sparkle.  I added 25mm pale pink satin edge sheer ribbon, a 25mm pale pink rose, tiny rosebuds and a couple of rose leaves, all from The Ribbon Girl

 (It's never too early to do a bit of Christmas crafting :-)    )

Vintage style Father Christmas box ...

xx

 

A 4" x 4" approx square papier mache box decorated in vintage style.  The top has touches of gold in the 'crackled' finish.  I edged the side of the lid with 17mm 'Iris' vintage style cotton lace.  The bottom of the box has 15mm Honey Gold satin ribbon and a five petal flower shaped faux ivory pearl and diamante embellishment.  The feet on the underside of the box are flatback 11mm diam pearls and a personalised message can be placed on the underside of the lid

Have yourself a merry little Christmas ..............

Another Christmas card with one of the new LOTV Christmas images being launched on Hochanda on Monday.  I used copics to colour the image then added 15mm honey gold satin ribbon, a gold poinsettia flower and some 55mm guipure lace.  The sentiment is also a stamp from LOTV
