A pretty vintage style box .....

I made this box today using white card which I cut and and scored then covered it with LOTV  Always and Forever Solids then added a pretty image from the LOTV  Beautiful Blooms pad.  I distressed all edges with gathered twigs ink.  I tried to use colours and patterns which would give the box (which measures 10cm x 10cm ) a vintage feel

I used sage green spot lacey edge ribbon threaded through a round diamante buckle slide around the sides of the box and added 4 x 11mm pearls for feet.  I put a spot of White Opal Liquid Pearls around the scallop mat under the image then added a rhinestone and pearl self adhesive butterfly on each corner.

this is a close up of one of those little butterflies, really pretty.  It's not easy to take a photo of a box, especially when I completely forget and took it under artificial light!

There is a new challenge on the Ribbon Girl blog today - everything goes - with an image - either anything goes or make a shaped card.  There are some great prizes to win too

Ribbon, butterflies, liquid pearls, buckle slides and pearls are all from
