Recycle ...

There is a new challenge over at Polkadoodles Digi Choosday Challenge with a nice prize for the winner.  I hope you will find time to join us and if you pop over to the blog I'm sure you will be inspired by the beautiful projects the team have made.  The DT were tasked with 'recycling' something and I recycled an empty  Lavazza instant coffee tin into a Spring vase for some daffodils

I added the digital pale green/pink spot paper from Polkadoodles Lil Miss Sugarpops Paper Heaven Collection and the beautiful digital Spring image is Snowdrop from The Darling Buds collection

I added some pink and white paper flowers, a scrap of lace around the top, and some flatback pearl trim to finish off my new Spring vase.   I do hope you will be able to join in with the Digichoosday Challenge, I'm looking forward to seeing what you make.
Thank you for visiting my blog

A card for a Winter birthday

There is a new challenge over at Polkadoodles Digi Choosday Challenge with a nice prize for the winner.  I hope you will find time to join us and if you pop over to the blog I'm sure you will be inspired.  The DT were tasked with creating a Winter birthday card. I thought this pink and blue image would be suitable as Miss Sugarpops is dressed in her best party frock and I'll bet she is very pleased to be inside in the warm now the weather is getting a bit chilly.    I used this cute pre-coloured digital image Party Dress/Gift Lil Miss Sugarpops collection on a background of Paper Heaven 2 Digital download from the same collection.  The sentiment is from Winnie Celebration 2 Sentiments digital download

I diecut the flowers from the scraps of pink patterned paper then scrunched and shaped before adding a sparkly gem centre coloured with a Copics pen.  I finished the card with some pale pink satin ribbon and some antique white guipure lace which were from The Ribbon Girl.  The butterflies were punched from scraps of the pink paper and I added tiny s/a gems to the centres.  I punched a pattern on the corners of the cardstock and pink backing paper for a bit of extra interest.

I do hope you will be able to join in with the Digichoosday Challenge, I'm looking forward to seeing what you make.
I'm entering this card into the following challenges:
