Christmas lanterns ...

Focus on paper ....

The challenge to the DT and Guests for this challenge was 'focus on paper' so ....

I decorated a plain papier mache box with 3 sheets of digital paper from the Polkadoodles Winnie Winterland collection. (Paper Heaven 4) and Paper Heaven 5. 

I used two sheets for the sides, edge of lid and top of box and with the third sheet  I made 3 flowers from the red/poinsettia sections of paper and some ivy and rose leaves from the green sections of paper

To augment the paper flowers I added some small burgundy medium rose buds, and some tiny pearl clusters on silver stems. To finish the box I added Donna ivory fine cotton lace, khaki sage  15mm satin ribbon, diamante double row round embellishment, pearls for the feet and edges of the lid etc. The centres of the flowers are 8mm sparkly f/b gems which I have coloured with a Copic pen

Carol singing luxury gift pouch .....

 

For this Christmas gift pouch with a luxurious vintage look, I used one of the images on a LOTV Carol Singing Art Sheet and the green background paper is from the LOTV 'Vintage Christmas' 8x8 paper pack/

For a touch of luxury, I added 38mm gold lame ribbon and 45mm 'Chantal' ivory lace.  The 35mm burgundy cottage rose (which is an exact match for the bears mittens) sits on a multi-layered bow including more gold lame and lace, gold/ivory chevron ribbon, 15mm random glitter ribbon, 38mm gold/silver wired organza,  metallic gold twine, all enhanced with a couple of green holly leaves all from The Ribbon Girl

Wrap up warm ....

This is my second project as a GDT for Polkadoodles Friday Challenge Blog and I was challenged to follow the theme 'wrap up warm'.  I used Winnie 'Wrapped up Warm' digital stamp from the 'Winnie White Christmas' collection,  The round sentiment and the lovely digital backing papers are from the same collection.
   I used Copics to colour the image of Winnie trudging through the snow* and I added lots of Stardust Stickles to the fur on her hat and boots.  A little bit of white gel pen added the finishing touches to her hat and scarf with some dots on her boots

I added some 38mm 'Charlotte' white vintage style cotton lace, white silky crush ribbon bow topped with a 25mm diamante snowflake, snowy faux fir cones, shiny red berries, holly leaves and the 'snowballs' in the bottom left are the balls cut from some white midi pom pom trim

'Let it Snow' ...

 

A cute Christmas card using an image from the LOTV 'Snowy Friends' Artsheet, just cut your image out and you're ready to go!  I added 15mm and 25mm 'Petrol' satin ribbon, a 25mm diamante snowflake, silver twine, 40mm silver lame ribbon, 55mm 'Monique' white guipure lace, white poinsettia, aqua (robins egg) medium rosebud, an aqua miniature blossom, a couple of holly leaves and a snowy faux pine cone 

By the way, there is a new facebook group called We Love Lili of the Valley   a place to share all your LOTV creations

Ballet birthday card .....

 

A pretty birthday card for a young ballet dancer using one of the gorgeous new Art Sheets 'Ballet' from Lili of the Valley, each sheet has 4 different images  - just cut from the sheet, shape and they're ready to use and excellent quality too.

I added some 22mm 'Margaret' white guipure lace, 15mm lilac satin and 15mm lilac satin edge sheer ribbons, a lilac two tone 30mm WOC wild rose, a pink sweetheart blossom, lilac two tone hip rosebud, green roseleaf, coral pink 20mm paper rose, small lilac beaded berries and a sprig of small pearl cluster flowers on silver stems.  Flowers, leaves, bling, lace and ribbon are all from The Ribbon Girl, Image is from Lili of the Valley

Vintage Cards with tassels ....

 

I really enjoyed making these vintage style Christmas cards.  I added a tassel to each one and some 50mm gold sparkly stripe organza ribbon, a faux fir cone, various berries, roses, buds and leaves.

Chilly Snowman Gift ...

Christmas card with a one of the gorgeous pre-coloured printable Pink Gem image 'Chilly Snowman Gift'  and printable digital papers are from the Festive Hollybobs collection, all from Polkadoodles.   

From The Ribbon Girl I added white/silver chevron ribbon, white organza ribbon, white holly leaves and some tiny pearl clusters on silver stems.  I made the silver poinsettia and added an 8mm crystal sparkle gems flat/back self adhesive to the centre.

Vintage Father Christmas card ..

 

A vintage style Christmas card  (I love this image by Stamperia) trimmed with 55mm Emma ivory guipure lace, 15mm ivory/bridal white satin ribbon, 25mm Forest Green satin edge sheer and 25mm diamante snowflake.  The floral arrangement includes a 30mm WOC wild rose, a couple of shiny red berries, faux fir cones and two 40mm holly leaves all from The Ribbon Girl

Coral pink medium gift/trinket box ..........

 

This medium sized trinket/gift box is my inspiration piece for The Ribbon Girl October 'Anything Goes' challenge - there are two prizes available from The Ribbon Girl and Polkadoodles

 

Mary used 53mm Isabelle White guipure lace, 16mm pink/gold chevron ribbon, tiny pearl cluster stem, 40mm pink tea rose, 20mm coral pink paper rose, coral exotic blossom, green rose leaves, 8mm pearl flower flatback trim, ivory oval pearl and diamante embellishment and 10mm ivory flatback pearls

Most of the products I used make up one of the prizes for the challenge

 This is the side of the box, a touch of luxury with the beautiful 53mm deep 'Isabelle' lace, topped with coral/gold ribbon, 8mm ivory pearl flower trim and a sparkling diamante and ivory pearl oval embellishment.
