Gift pocket using  LOTV xx  art sheet on Watercolour Dots paper.  I added Maisie 30mm white cotton lace, navy 25mm satin ribbon, silver/white chevron ribbon, 38mm silver lame ribbon, silver twine, white snowflake button and some 3-row 15mm silver flower trim all from The Ribbon Girl

For this pocket I used 55mm Emma ivory guipure lace, 15mm honey gold/gold snowflake ribbon, holly leaves, poinsettia and gold flake ribbon all from The Ribbon Girl.  The image is from the Cosy Christmas  artsheet on Vintage Christmas paper

Gift pocket using the LOTV Vintage Christmas papers and image from Woodland Scenes artsheet.  I added 25mm burgundy satin ribbon,  'Grace' ivory guipure lace, gold stripe ribbon, 17mm gold star trim, gold/ivory chevron ribbon, 25mm random ivory glitter ribbon, holly leaves and a 35mm burgundy cottage rose all from The Ribbon Girl.

Snowflakes ..................

There's a new challenge over on the Digi Choosday Challenge Blog  (#Week 47) and I hope you will pop over and join us.  There is some great inspiration from the design team.   It's an 'anything goes' challenge but the design team were challenged to make something with 'snowflakes' as the main theme.

I made this aqua-blue and white Christmas card using the cute snowman, tree and tree baubles from the Polkadoodles Winnie Winterland Embellies Digital Download  set and used the gorgeous snowflake digital background paper 'Paper Heaven 1'  

I added tiny white pompom trim and silver/white chevron ribbon.  The bow included a white holly leaf, a 25mm diamante snowflake, white organza with silver star ribbon and more of the silver chevron ribbon.

Festive friends ......

I chose crisp red and white for this gift pouch, adding 25mm red satin ribbon, 38mm silver flake ribbon and 17mm white 'Laila' vintage style cotton lace topped with a bow made from 38mm silver lame, red check ribbon, a white snowflake button and some 3mm red satin.  I used an image from the LOTV 'Festive Friends' artsheet matted onto 'Scandi Christmas'  paper for this gift pouch.

This wise little owl is keeping warm with his hat and scarf ......

This plump little owl (from Woodland Scenes LOTV Artsheet ) is keeping warm with his hat and scarf.  I've trimmed this pocket with 38mm faux hessian ribbon, holly organza, cream/gold chevron ribbon, an 18mm rusty bell tied with natural button twine, a snowy fir cone, red oval double ended berries, brown tea dyed cotton ribbon, brown tea towel stripe ribbon, a holly leaf and some white/green speckled berries

The fox has got his (Santa) hat on .....

I used another image from the Woodland Scenes artsheet on Vintage Christmas 8x8 paper for this pouch.  I trimmed it with 38mm silver lame,   25mm red satin, 38mm 'Jessica' white guipure lace, white silky crush ribbon, white/silver chevron ribbon, double ended oval berries, a white poinsettia, white and green holly leaves.

Stay warm and cosy little penguin .....

 

This gift pouch in girly colours has the sweetest little penguin having his scarf put on to keep him warm :-)  The image is from the Cosy Christmas Art Sheet from LOTV on 'Galaxy Stars'  8x8 paper pack.    I trimmed this with 38mm silver lame, 25mm blackberry satin, 38mm Phoebe white guipure lace, 23mm lilac organza, a small piece of silver tinsel, some silver twine and a very pretty lilac and white cottage rose

Squirrel gift pouch ......

A gold and green gift pouch trimmed with 35mm Amelia ivory vintage style lace, various gold ribbons, tied with gold twine  (ribbons include gold/ivory chevron, gold metallic edge cream satin, honey gold satin with gold snowflakes, 38mm gold flake ribbon) a Christmas Rose and some green holly leaves. 

The paper is from the LOTV 'Vintage Christmas' 8x8 pack, and the cute image is from the LOTV Art Sheet 'Woodland Scenes'

A winter scene .....

I've really enjoyed my time as a Guest DT for Polkadoodles and for this challenge the brief was to create a scene. I used the adorable image 'Polar Friends' from the Winnie Winterland Collection https://www.polkadoodles.co.uk/winnie-winterland-polar-fri…/ The trees and the cute reindeer are from the Winnie Winterland Embellies collection https://www.polkadoodles.co.uk/winnie-winterland-embellies…/ The scene I created was matted onto sparkly silver card, then some forest green card on a 5 x 7 white card. 

I added forest green satin edge sheer, white/silver chevron and white ruffle edge ribbons, white holly leaves,  snowy fircones and a really sparkly diamante snowflake all from The Ribbon Girl

I hope you will have time to pop over to the Polkadoodles Craft Challenge and be inspired by the lovely makes by the DT.  I am looking forward to seeing what you create!

Pink and Frosty gift pouch ........

 

A vintage themed gift pouch in pink and silver.  I added 38mm silver lame and 25mm pale pink satin ribbon with some white guipure lace*.  The bow is 38mm silver lame topped with 50mm Pink Twinkle bow topped with a 25mm diamante flatback snowflake.

*this particular lace is out of stock but there are lots of other guipures in white and ivory in the store

Enchanted Unicorn birthday card ....

 

I hope you can join in with The Ribbon Girl November 'anything goes' challenge - I've made a birthday card and used Monique 55mm Guipure Lace, 25mm and 15mm Aqua satin ribbon, an 18mm round brilliant cut sparkly button tied on with silver twine, lilac two tone and a lemon/white two tone 30mm wild rose, pink carnation and some daisy leaves.  The image is from LOTV No 41 Enchanted Unicorns art sheet and the backing paper is from the Watercolour Dots Warm Sunshine 8x8 paper pack- they've got some lovely new art sheets, rubber stamps and packs of paper!

I tried to choose flowers etc to match the colours on the unicorn image

I added a sparkly button to the bow and tied it on with silver twine

I'm looking forward to seeing what you make for the 'anything goes' challenge and there are two lovely prizes to win!
