A white winter wedding cake to go with the snow and ice we're having here in the UK at the moment - unfortunately we missed our great neice Nicole's baptism this morning because of the heavy snow and bad road conditions where we live - very unhappy - but my sister, Nicoles grandma sent me a 'phone photo of Nicole in her christening gown just after the service- she looked adorable.
For this simple winter wedding cake I used 6-row faux diamante mesh ribbon around the three cakes, flowers by my sister Jackie included WOC mulberry flowers, K&G white beaded branches and Ribbon Girl clear drop and irridescent heart crystal stems all from here
A close up of the top cake - don't forget ladies, The Ribbon Girl January Colour Challenge begins tomorrow morning - so please pop over to the Ribbon Girl Blog on Sunday 20th January for more details - fabulous inspiration by the DT ladies and lovely prizes to be won.
See you tomorrow, Mary G x
