A house with flowers .....

I was delighted (but very nervous!) to be invited by Lili of the Valley to be a GDT for April - this is my first project.  I was inspired by fellow Ribbon Girl teamie Gail who made a house from chipboard then Andrea made one so I just had to have a go myself.  I have to admit I found it rather difficult to cut through the board with my stanley knife, but I made sure every component was the correct size before covering with 'Perfect Pair' papers from LOTV.  The window was particularly hard for me to cut but it finished off the house nicely.

The flowers growing up the walls are WOC pink and ivory aster chrysanths and then I added 4mm pink pearl beads under the eves of the roof.  The Lili of the Valley sign was computer generated and distressed with walnut ink.

I cut out the little girl from Mini Masterpiece No. 21 and sat her on the Magnolia doohickey fence which I adhered to the base board of the house.

Hi Mary I have just seen this on the LOTV blog and had to come over and say WOW! This is just gorgoeus, a real work of art and it must have been so hard to cut everything out. I love the patchwork roof too, hugs x
