More vintage roses ....

My second card this week using an image from the Stempleglede vintage garden set which Andrea got me a year past Christmas - it's a bit like buses, wait ages then two come together :-) and that's exactly what's happening over at Papertake Weekly today - the challenge is 'repeat, repeat' so on this card I have used 2 of everything!

I coloured the stamped image with Inktense pencils then added Stardust Stickles.  I used 'Clementine' 32mm ivory lace studded with 5mm ivory pearls, 2 rows of 6mm ivory flat back pearl trim, 2 ivory tulle butterflies, 2 bows made from 7mm gold yellow satin, 2 ivory Kort & Godt rolled roses, 2 heads of mocha beaded stamen, 2 WOC ivory 20mm open roses, 2 ivory cherry blossoms and a 2 x 30mm ivory roses coloured with copics.

Flowers, lace, ribbon, pearls, butterflies and stickles are all from

There are some great interpretations of 'repeat, repeat' over on the PTW blog and I really hope you will have time to join us in this fun challenge!

I'm entering this card into the Deep Ocean Challenge 'vintage'

This is beautiful. I love the vintage image (these stamps are on my wish-list, they look stunning!) and the lace borders are gorgeous.

This is beautiful. My mom would love this type of card. You've inspired me again...and her birthday is coming up on Oct. 30, too....I need to get moving to make something this nice for her. :) Gotta practice with my new pencils before I expect ANYTHING near pretty as this. I adore the lace and how you've framed the flowers. Just gorgeous! Hugs, Gail
