The Acer with holly bush in the background
A dandelion clock - better get that before a million seed heads land on the lawn!
Fir cones on one of the fir trees
Pansies in the front garden
First red poppy with forget-me-nots in the background
Purple flower - can't remember the name but they spread very well - I bought one cutting at an 'open garden trail around Hexhamshire 3 or 4 years ago and now I have loads of these plants!
Just in case you missed it, we have a lovely giveaway on the Ribbon Girl blog
see you soon, Mary x

Woops! I guess I should have put my comment here on this post. Sorry about that.
I was drawn to your garden. One thing about living in Las Vegas is that our yards are not real big and I don't have room for much of a garden. When we retire back to Minnesota, I will eventually be able to enjoy a big garden again. Your photos are lovely. Thanks for sharing them.

Hi Mary, hope you are ok. Love the card and your garden pics are wonderful. The last one is a Cornflower..(Batchelors button) I so love my cornflowers as they bring in the bees and butterflies :) Bees are so short in numbers at present though.
Huge Hugs Mau xx
still hoping to see you at the crop, Jean said she would let me know. xx
Gorgeous flowers Mary, don't you just love this time of year.
I keep picking out dandelion heads though, they spread far to quickly.
Enjoy your garden, hugs Teresa xx
