May today be filled with happiness ....

Inspired by my Polkadoodles teamie Plony I downloaded this lovely Polkadoodles digi image 'Luna' and coloured her with Copic markers.  The outer frame is cut from a Marianne Creatables die LR0470 and the pink and white flowers are diecut from Sue Wilson dies by Creative Expressions which I bought from my friend Anne when she was having a crafty clear-out.  The sentiment is from the Polkadoodles Winnie collection

For a first holy communion ....

Sorry for the quality of the photo, I just could not get the correct 'whiteness' to show up on this all white card, try as I might.   A card for a first Holy Communion which has a personal message on the inside leaf.  The sentiment was computer generated and I embossed the background paper with dots.   I used various dies including a Marianne Creatables LR0578, a trellis cross die (by Robert Addams #176 which I've had for ages, rose leaves I think from Magnolia, and Heartfelt Creations dog rose (I used white paper embossed and glittered and vellum which was heat embossed)  The card was finished with sparkly s/a gems in the centres of the flowers.

Rabbit with daisy .....

The cutest little bear .....

For this round birthday card I used a Marianne Designs LR0112 creatables die on a round card which I shaped with with a scallop edge die.  The cute image of the little bear sitting by the watering can, is a LOTV digital download Simply Print 'Watering Can, Spring Flowers'

The daisy flower was punched and the leaves were die-cut.  The sentiment was computer generated.

Boy's birthday gift bag .....

There is a new 'anything goes' challenge over at Polkadoodles Digi Choosday Challenge with a nice prize for the winner.  I hope you will find time to join us and if you pop over to the blog I'm sure you will be inspired.  The DT were tasked with creating a project with the theme of  Happy Birthday using an image of a boy/,ale or animal/bird, and it had to be anything but a card!  I came up with this decorated gift bag.

I used the black/white digi image Flying a Kite from Polkadoodles Winnie Special Moments Collection and the digital background papers are from the same collection.

I coloured the image with Copic markers and added doodling to my paper pieces, a faux hessian and saddlestitch bow topped with a red polka dot ribbon tied with hemp twine and then finished off the bag with a row of silver star trim

A gorgeous little westie on this birthday card ..

A birthday card for a friend using one of the LOTV digi download simply print images 'Spring Puppy'  which I resized, printed and added to a die-cut background.  I finished the card with a little bow made from blue satin, a die-cut paper flow with a s/a pearl in the centre, some punched leaves and a computer generated sentiment.

Looking forward to Summer .....

There is a new 'anything goes' challenge over at Polkadoodles Digi Choosday Challenge with a nice prize for the winner.  I hope you will find time to join us and if you pop over to the blog I'm sure you will be inspired.  The DT were tasked with creating a project with the theme of 'Looking forward to Summer' and I thought this lovely digi stamp of Helga Hippo with her gorgeous summer hat would fit the bill perfectly. When I'd downloaded and printed out the image I coloured it with Copic markers.

I die cut the image and matted it onto various diecut shapes then added some summer flowers which I stamped and diecut from Polkadoodles digital paper from the Starfish/Sandcastles  collection and added a sparkly gem in the centres plus some diecut white leaves.

Bella has an Easter gift .....

There is a new 'anything goes' challenge over at Polkadoodles Digi Choosday Challenge with a nice prize for the winner.  I hope you will find time to join us and if you pop over to the blog I'm sure you will be inspired.  The DT were tasked with creating a project with the theme of EASTER  with an ANIMAL/BIRD and the project had to include a TAG     I coloured the adorable Bella Bear with Copic markers and tried to match the colours with the green, peach and pink digi papers I downloaded from the Starfish/Sandcastles  collection.  I added a drop of Glossy Accents to her nose for a bit of shine and some extra freckles to her cheeks using a white gel pen

I die-cut a shape for the top of the egg box, then I punched some flowers and leaves from the scraps of papers, added some s/a gems, a pink ribbon to keep the egg box closed and some frilly pink trim.  When 4 Cadbury creme eggs are added to the box this will make a lovely gift for someone special. Some of the Copic pens I used: G05, YR21, RV14. E43, E00, E51, E000, R11, E59, C0

Triangular fold Fairy birthday card ....

 

My first try at a triangular fold card using a pre-coloured image from the  LOTV 'Lily the Fairy' Art Sheet   I saw one o these cards made by the lovely Bozena Beijer  in Netherlands   It consists of 3 pieces of cards, scored and joined together, then a ribbon added across the whole width of the 3 pieces with patterned paper and die cuts on top of that.  The paper I used on the background is from an old Lemoncraft pad

You can see here how the back panel folds in 2 diagonally then tucks under the front decorative top

This photo shows the 3 pieces in a row - you cant see the diagonal fold on the front piece as there is a decorative panel added on top of it with the diecuts, flowers, ribbons etc.

Gift card pouch ....

My first attempt at a small easy open/close gift pouch  I used a Sue Wilson Creative Expression Die CED4418 and added a paper/vellum silver embossed flower with a s/a gem in the centre plus punched and die-cut leaves.     I cut a slit in the body of the pouch so the tip of the filigree portion could slip in for closing/opening.  I was pleased with the design I came up with and will make some more, lining the inner and adding the pocket for gift card or cash

Cute mice and Delightful Daisies birthday card ....

A birthday card using one of the gorgeous digital download pdf  LOTV pre-coloured images  'Delightful Daisies'

I used a Marianne Design die  LR0578 on a pale pink background and added a pink paper and silver embossed vellum flower with a s/a gem in the centre.  The sentiment was computer generated.

60th birthday card ...

For this birthday card I used the very pretty Marianne Design die LR0407, plus the Petra Large Oval LR0240.  The sentiment on the front was computer generated and I punched ut the flower and added a die-cut leaf.  On the inside of the card is a personal message plus co-ordinating paper which is from a collection by Sweete Shoppe

A teacup of poppies ....

 

I was inspired by a lady on the Marianne Design facebook group who made a similar card (Alie de Blieck) and I made this card using one of the older ready coloured  LOTV images 'A teacup of poppies'   I used Marianne dies LR0578, LR0537 on the corners and then I made some silver embossed paper and vellum flowers using my Heartfelt Creations stamp and die set.

I added a sparkly gem to the centre of the flowers which I painted with pearl and metallic acylic paints.  I am fascinated with these flowers at the moment and will be making more very soon

A gift for a lady ....

There is a new 'anything goes' challenge over at Polkadoodles Digi Choosday Challenge with a nice prize for the winner.  I hope you will find time to join us and if you pop over to the blog I'm sure you will be inspired.  The DT were tasked with creating a project with the theme of 'a gift for a lady' so I thought what could be nicer than a bar of chocklit!  yummy!!  

 I bought a bar of chocolate wrapped in foil, then an outer paper wrapper which I removed    I made a new wrapper from Polkadoodles Digi Download paper from the Winnie collection.  I coloured up this cute digital image 'Winnie Sugar Sprinkles Springtime - Mmmmm Chocolate!' with Copics pens, diecut it into an oval shape, and added a decorative oval background.  I added some vintage style white fine cotton lace topped with pink satin ribbon.  A few pink and aqua flowers and some green leaves from my stash with a bow made from pale pink and white spot organza ribbon finished off the gift.  The digi sentiment was downloaded from Winnie Sugar Sprinkles Design Sheet 7
