A Sunny Hedgehog Birthday Card .....

I've been waiting for better light to take photographs, but alas, had to do this with a snowy background this afternoon.  This bright and sunny birthday card has a cute Penny Black stamp which I coloured with Copics and enhanced with Stardust Stickles.  The sentiment was computer generated onto the digital background paper.  I'm entering this into Papertake Weekly cut it out challenge and also I followed the sketch in this weeks Penny Black challenge and used digital background papers 'chalky lemon' from the Clipart Fairy. To mask the join I used yellow twill stripe ribbon from here.   The coloured Penny Black image and the toning yellow card background were cut with nestabilities on the sizzix machine.  I added a wide yellow satin ribbon and a bow plus a couple of golden yellow fancy pins - all ribbons, pins and stickles from here

I printed out an extra sheet of the background paper and punched paper flowers which I shaped by nipping the petals, then fastened two flowers together with a yellow brad after which plenty of stardust stickles were added.

Hi Mary, Such a lovely sunny card and such a sweet image.

We've had our first fall of snow here this morning, just enough to make everything look pretty!

Thank you for joining us at Let's Craft and Create for our latest challenge.
